Howdy Kevin!

I'm so sorry it's taken me so long to reply to your comment. I don't really use that blog much at all, and I only today noticed that it had found a legitimate comment amonsgt all the spam. If you still use the app, hopefully this will help.

I couldn't ever get the tone generator to be as loud as I want (you've probably noticed this..) so I don't advertise it as a feature. Having it stay on is a great idea--I think it would make most sense to add that to the single-note view you get when you double tap a "spinner", put a little tuning fork icon there. I've been meaning to update the app for months, add a few things to make things easier/more fun, but mostly I want to try and get the note loud enough to be useful. It might be the case that the speaker on the phone just can't produce much output at those frequencies.

As for editing tunings, it's not obvious at all but if you tap the Edit button on the tunings list and then tap one of the rows, it'll return you to the edit screen for that tuning.

Dave, downloaded your app today and I love it.

A few questions.

Found that if you press a spinner, the reference tone will sound. Any way to get it to stick on? (want my wind instrument students to start hearing and adjusting to the beats between their sound and the ref. Come to think of it, if you sum the ref and the input sound, we might be able to reinforce that (when using headphones.)

Adding tunings: I couldn't figure out how to edit tunings once I finished making them and added them to the list. Edit while you are building them is straight forward, but not after the fact. Is this possible?

Thanks, kevin

Sorting a list of objects into arrays based on some property, usually class. In Unison, the main list has at least four different object types in it, each coming out of a different table in the database. It's a lot faster to fetch data for all of the items of each type at once. There was about a dozen places where I was doing this kind of sorting.
